Joseph Anderson is a seasoned Commercial Account Manager with OakTrust Insurance Group, bringing a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to his role since 2021. His diverse career path has equipped him with a broad skill set and a deep understanding of both commercial insurance and client needs.

Born in Berlin, Germany, and raised in Alaska, Joseph's journey has taken him from the icy landscapes of his youth to the warm shores of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. His career began in 1983 when he was instrumental in building the K Band Satellite Electronics system that brought same-day television to Alaska. Since then, his professional journey has spanned various industries and roles.

Joseph moved to the Gulf Coast in 1984 and held several positions before relocating to Texas in 1991. There, he managed multiple nightclubs before transitioning to a successful career in sales. His sales expertise grew from automotive and software sales to roles as a sales trainer and manager in debt management. He entered the insurance industry in 2004, and by July 2006, he was managing day-to-day operations at Anderson Insurance Associates in Washington State. In October 2017, he joined Strachota Insurance in Temecula, CA, as a Commercial Lines Agent/Account Executive before returning to the Gulf Coast and OakTrust Insurance in 2021.

Beyond his professional achievements, Joseph is deeply committed to community service. He played a key role in organizing an annual charity bicycle tour of vineyards and wineries in Washington from 2008 to 2017, benefiting local scholarship funds through his work with Kiwanis. His passion for martial arts includes studying Judo, Aikido, and Jujitsu from 1992 to 2006 and teaching Aikido from 2006 to 2012. A lifelong musician and devoted New Orleans Saints fan, Joseph enjoys fishing, motorcycling, and the occasional round of poorly played golf.

As a proud father and grandfather to three daughters, one son, and nine grandchildren, Joseph's life is a rich tapestry of family, career, and community involvement. His extensive experience and commitment to service make him an invaluable asset to OakTrust Insurance Group and a beloved member of the Mississippi Gulf Coast community
